VoIP emergency calling
Internet-based phone service depends on the configured service, devices, power, and connectivity. A power outage, network failure, provider disruption, or incorrect registered location can affect emergency calling or emergency response. Keep an alternative means of contacting emergency services available.
Keep the registered emergency address accurate, including when a device moves or a person works remotely. Understand the location and emergency-calling capabilities of each device and softphone. Tell the emergency operator your location and callback number when possible.
Your actual VoIP service agreement and provider-specific 911 disclosures govern the service. Required emergency-calling acknowledgements and location setup must be completed through the service onboarding process. A website notice alone does not complete them.
Call recording and your choice
Calls may be recorded, where lawful, for training, quality assurance, service documentation, security, and applicable legal obligations. A recording notice and any legally required consent must be provided before recording starts. This website notice does not constitute consent to record a call.
If you do not consent, tell the representative and ask about an available unrecorded option or another contact method. Recording access and retention are limited to the approved purpose and applicable records schedule. Privacy questions can be directed to privacy@logicnetworks.us.
Text messaging is a separate program
VoIP service, SMS permission, and cookie choices are separate. Review the SMS terms for service and marketing text enrollment, charges, opt-out, and help. Business texting is not an emergency response channel.
